Bethlehem Center High School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Team was recently awarded first place at the Intermediate Unit I Regional Competition, held at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus in Lemont Furnace. The team’s project was called “Styrofill” and used recycled Styrofoam as an alternative to asphalt for filling potholes. Old Trails Business and Professional Women’s Club recently awarded the Helen Harkins Memorial Scholarship to Dominic Clutter of Beth-Center High School. He will attend Youngstown State University Honors College, majoring in industrial engineering. A son of Roselle and Lonnie Clutter, he was valedictorian with a QPA of 4.7. Clutter’s high school activities included marching band, STEM, Hometown High Q, varsity soccer and track, National Honor Society and many more.
