Forty-eight students from around Pennsylvania – including a team from Carmichaels Area High School – were able to gather in person at the Ag Progress Days site Sept. 30.
A team of Carmichaels Area High School students placed 10th during the 37th Pennsylvania Envirothon state competition, which was held virtually last month.
Carmichaels High School will hold graduation for 78 seniors at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Coaches Field. Alternate weather date will be Saturday. Tickets will be required for on the field seating, but the bleacher/grass area is open to the public and does not require a ticket. Livestream is available through CASD Mikes Nation YouTube page. Overflow parking will be available at the fire hall. Everyone in attendance will be required to wear a mask.

Pennsylvania Game Commission Game Warden Brandon Bonin visited Carmichaels Area High School students to discuss State Game Lands regulations and Wildlife Diseases, such as Chronic Wasting Disease, EHD, and West Nile Virus, affecting state wildlife. Greene County Commissioners announced the county’s five school districts and Career Technology Center would each receive $50,000 grants for improving and expanding security and safety protocols.
