Mr., Mrs. Wilkins mark 65th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wilkins celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 8. They were married Sept. 8, 1937, by the Rev. Harry Humbert in Fairchance.
Mrs. Wilkins is the former Edith Everly, daughter of the late Dayton and Alma Everly. Mr. Wilkins is the son of the late Charles and Ethel Wilkins.
They are members of the Springhill Furnace Presbyterian Church.
They have two children, Charles and his wife, Sherry, of Munroe Falls, Ohio; and Nancy and her husband, Frederick Crossland of Uniontown.
They have three grandchildren, Deborah and Charles Wilkins of Ohio and Carla Powell of Uniontown. Their great-grandchildren are Ashley, Holly, and Dana Wilkins of Ohio.
An anniversary celebration was held at the Sun Porch, Hopwood, with all family members attending.
