Wycinskys celebrate 60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. George Wycinsky of 370 Dixon Blvd., Uniontown, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 5. They were married Dec. 5, 1942, by the Rev. R.A. Kelley in McClellandtown Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wycinsky is the former Orpha N. Bowers, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bowers.
They are the parents of four children, Nancy Yeager and her husband, the Rev. Roger Yeager; Sharon Honsaker and her husband, Darwin Honsaker; and Gary Wycinsky and his wife, Karen. Their son, Pfc. George Wycinsky Jr., was killed in action in Viet Nam in 1966.
They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A family celebration was held in their honor at their home.
