Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fulmer of Connellsville celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on May 15. Mr. Fulmer retired from Troutman’s Department Store where he worked for many years starting as a stock boy and working his way up to manager.

His service was interrupted as he served in the Army in the European theater during World War II.

Mrs. Fulmer is the former Eva Yoder. She has been recognized by The Pennsylvania Sunday School Association for teaching Sunday School for over 50 years.

Mr. Fulmer has been involved in many civic organizations in Connellsville, and was a member of the Rotary Club for many years and served as chairman of The Salvation Army Advisory Board.

A dinner to mark the occasion was held by their family.
