Bill and Cheryl Gardner of Vanderbilt celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary April 2. They are the parents of two daughters, Nicole and Ashley Gardner.

Mr. Gardner is employed as a Bituminous Underground Mine Inspector for the Bureau of Deep Mine Safety and is the head softball coach at Geibel Catholic High School. He is the son of Tom and Viola Smitley of Uniontown.

Mrs. Gardner is the former Cheryl Ann Copeland, daughter of Robert and Charlotte Copeland of Mount Pleasant. She is employed as the rehab manager at Fayette Home Health Care.

The Gardners celebrated their wedding anniversary with family at a party given by their two daughters, Nicole and Ashley.
