Mr., Mrs. Dubos celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Stanley and Elizabeth Dubos celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 24. They were married May 24, 1952 by the Rev. Bednarik at St. Hedwig Church, Smock.
Mrs. Dubos is the former Elizabeth Hallo of Keisterville.
Mr. Dubos is a 1945 graduate of Redstone High School and served in World War II and the Korean War. He retired as postmaster at Chestnut Ridge after 47 years of service.
Their children are Larry and Monica Dubos of Uniontown; Richard and Chris Dubos of Chestnut Ridge; Diane and Paul Lancaster of Smock; Karen Fagan of Allison. They have four grandchildren, Ashley and Tori Dubos, David Gleason of Smock, and Shane Fagan of Allison.
A dinner at the Coal Baron was held in their honor.
