Whites honored at dinner on 60th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Donald White are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today. A dinner at the Cactus Star Restaurant, Scottdale, will mark the occasion.
They were married June 16, 1942, by the Rev. Wilson at the Presbyterian Church in Winchester, Va.
Mrs. White is the former Alva Herbert.
Their children are Donna Blair of Connellsville and Brenda Horton of New Port Richey, Fla.
They have four grandchildren, Robin McLaughlin and her husband, Bob; Gregg Blair, Brian Horton and his wife, Susan; and Bridget Horton.
They also have three great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Brittany McLaughlin and Victor Horton.
Mr. White retired after 30 years of service with Allegheny Power.
