Dolores and James Boone of Brownsville are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today. They were married June 23, 1962, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville.

They have two children, Diane Beregi and her husband, David, of Brownsville, and a son, Stephen and his wife, Jennifer of Rayland, Ohio.

They have two granddaughters, Stephanie Lauren Beregi, 8, and Madison Jane Boone, 6 weeks old.

Mrs. Boone is the daughter of the late Stephen and Marianna Orelli Stefek. She is employed at California University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Boone is the son of the late William and Isabella Ferris Boone of Perryopolis. He is retired.
