Mr., Mrs. Franks mark 40th wedding anniversary

Richard and Nancy Franks of Hopwood-Fairchance Road, Uniontown, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Monday. They were married in Oakland, Md. by the Rev. Lawrence Sherwood on May 27, 1962.

Mr. Franks is an owner-operator truck driver and is leased to Pittsburgh Fayette Express in Belle Vernon.

He is the son of the late James and Mabel Franks.

Mrs. Franks is the former Nancy Wilson, daughter of the late Palmer and Elizabeth Wilson. She is employed as a cashier at Adrian’s Market in Hopwood.
