Filitskys celebrate 55thwedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Filitsky of Uniontown will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22. They were married in a nuptial Mass celebrated by the Rev. Marovic on Nov. 22, 1947, at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Connellsvile.

Mrs. Filitsky is the former Irene Petko.

They are the parents of five children, Joseph, John, Joyce, Janice and James.

They also have 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
