Porters celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Alvin and Nancy Porter of Denbo were honored by their children at a surprise celebration for their 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The Porters were marred in Winchester, Va., Oct. 4, 1952.

They have four children, Alvin Jr. of Huntington; Terry Tepsic of Tyrone; Sheri Haba of New Eagle and Rebecca Neel of Fredericktown. They have 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
