Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sabec of North Olmsted, Ohio, and former local residents, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today. They were married Oct. 20, 1962 at St. Joseph Church by the Rev. Anthony Nazmiak.

Mrs. Sabec is the former Barbara Ann Marek, daughter of Mary Marek of Uniontown and the late Adam S. Marek.

Mr. Sabec is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Sabec of Collier.

They are the parents of two daughters and a son, Maureen Judson, Kimberly Ann Richardson and Richard Jr.

They also have three grandchildren, Julia, Judson and Riley.
