Kinneers celebrate 60th wedding anniversary with dinner, dance
James William and Margaret Louise Kinneer of Dawson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The Kinneers were married Sept. 6, 1942, in South Mills, N.C.
They are both members of the Connellsville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mrs. Kinneer is the former Margaret Louise Link of Emporia, Va.
Mr. Kinneer is a retired coal miner from LTV, Republic Steel.
They are the parents of two sons, Oren Leonard Kinneer and his wife, Carol, of Grafton, W.Va., and Richard James (Rick) Kinneer and his wife, Shirley, of Friedens.
They have three grandchildren, Kimberly Kinneer of Grafton, W.Va., Mrs. Shawn (Melissa) Chonko of Berlin, and Timothy James Kinneer of Meinheim.
Family and friends hosted a dinner and dance on Sept. 7 at the Bullskin Senior Citizens Center, Connellsville with 200 guests in attendance.
