Louis R. and Margaret Vaccaro, McClellandtown, will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary on Monday. They were married at Great Bethel Baptist Church, Uniontown.

Mr. Vaccaro, the son of the late Nick and Julie Vaccaro, McClellandtown, retired from U.S. Steel in 1973 after 39 1/2 years. He was employed at the Robina Coal Mine in Greene County.

Mrs. Vaccaro, the daughter of the late William and Callie Arthur, Uniontown, retired from the Uniontown Hospital in 1976 where she was head of the EKG department.

They are the parents of three children: Louis Arthur Vaccaro and wife, Lois, McClellandtown; Nicholas F. Vaccaro and wife, Joyce, Parma, Ohio; and Mary Ann Saluga and husband, Paul, Uniontown.

There are eight grandchildren; Lisa Bailey, Raleigh, N.C.; Denise Barnhart, Newberry, SC; Richard Vaccaro, Oak Harbor, Wa., Nicholas Vaccaro, Burlington, Vt.; Michael Vaccaro, Parma, Ohio; Margaret Shamp, Parma, Ohio; Douglas Saluga, Uniontown and Julie Nagy, Uniontown. There are also twelve great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

A family dinner will be held today at the Coal Baron Restaurant to celebrate this special occasion.

Mr. Vaccaro will belebrate his 94 birthday on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
