D’Aurias mark 60th anniversary
Mr. And Mrs. Vincent D’Auria of Uniontown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, April 9. They were married April 9, 1943, at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Fresno, Calif., by the Rev. Francis Pointek.
Mrs. D’Auria is the former Nancy Jean King.
Mr. D’Auria is a retired safety inspector with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry in Harrisburg.
They were honored on Saturday at Dimetri’s Restaurant, Cheat Lake, W.Va., by their three daughters, Patricia Hutchinson and her husband, William of Woodbridge, Va., Marian D’Auria and Wayne Shaver of Rock Lake, Fairmont, W.Va. and Susan D’Auria and Earl Pellegreen of Elizabeth City, N.C.
They are also the parents of the late Nancie Jane D’Auria.
They have eight grandchildren: William V. Hutchinson, Jane (Cluss) Gasch, Melissa L. (Hutchinson) Keith, Noah Proud, Ian V. Custer, Nathan J. Custer, Alyssa M. Schooley, and Ryan M. Schooley; and four great-grandchildren: Lyndey Jo Proud, William Garrett Hutchinson, Emily Grace Keith and Aubrie Brooke Custer.
