Brants celebrate 40thwedding anniversary
W. Arthur and Byrdena Brant of Keisterville celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in June. They were married June 24, 1963 in Oakland, Md.
They were surprised with a dinner celebration at Rossi’s Italian Restaurant given by their daughters, Reta and her husband, Dave Diethorn of Plum Boro; Nora and her husband, Tony Lent; Lois and her husband, Ken Carpeal, all of Keisterville.
They have eight surviving grandchildren, Wally, Dena and Mara Diethorn, Anthony and Austin Lent, and Willie, K.J. and Jared Carpeal.
Mr. Brant is retired machinist from U.S. Steel. Mrs. Brant, the former Byrdena Worley, manages the snack bar at Penn State Fayette.
