Brants observe 50th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. William O. Brant Sr. of Collier celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 15. They were united in marriage on Nov. 15, 1952, in Cumberland, Md.
Mrs. Brant is the former Salina Tate. Mr. Brant is retired from U.S. Steel and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
They have two children, Thelma Walls of Fairchance and William O. Brant Jr. of Collier. They have two grandchildren, Stacy Weaver of Frederick, Md. and Joshua Walls of Fairchance.
Their son-in-law, Pastor Ken Walls, officiated the renewing of their marriage vows.
A surprise party was held in their honor.
