Marvin and Mary Marcozzi of Saint James Drive, Uniontown, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Friday. They were married Feb. 7, 1948 at St. Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church, Smock, by the Rev. Joseph Bednarik.

Mrs. Marcozzi is the daughter of the late John and Mary Stepanik of Smock. Mr. Marcozzi is the son of the late Stephen and Mary Della Marcozzi of Rowes Run, Grindstone.

They are the parents of two sons, Terry of Santa Monica, Calif., and Ron and his wife, Judy of Dickerson Run. They have one granddaughter, Kaelie Marcozzi of Morgantown, W.Va.

Mr. Marcozzi was self-employed at his gas and tire service. He is retired.

A family dinner will be held in their honor.
