Mr. and Mrs. Davis mark 50th wedding anniversary
Celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary recently were Arnold and Emma Jane Davis of School Road, Dawson. They were married Nov. 15, 1952 at the First Methodist Church, Scottdale.
A party was held in their honor in November at the Brownfield Community Center.
Mrs. Davis is the former Emma Jane Cottom.
She graduated from Perry Lower Tyrone School and the Fayette County Vocational-Technical School’s licensed practical nursing program.
She retired in 2000 after 22 years as a licensed practical nurse at Brownsville Hospital.
Mr. Davis is a graduate of East Huntington High School and is a self-employed farmer.
They have three children, Edwin and his wife, Kathy, of Scottdale; Kathy and her husband, Don Grenaldo, of Connellsville; and Mark and his wife, Cathy, of Finleyville. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
