Mr., Mrs. Wertz celebrate 35th
Delbert and Gloria Wertz of Point Marion celebrated their 35th anniversary on March 1. They were married in New Geneva by the late Andrew Pontic of New Geneva.
Mrs. Wertz is the daughter of the late Joseph Hartman Sanders of Hampton, Va. and Leona Mae Durand and the late George Durand of Newport News, Va.
She attended Kees Business College of Newport News and is currently a retired computer administrator assistant.
Mr. Wertz is the son of the late Bert Sheldon Wertz of Grafton, W.Va., and the late Janet Warman Wertz Barnes of Nilan Hill.
Mr. Wertz was born in Blosser Hill and served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and retired at Fort Eustis, Va.
He is a retired security guard at Langley AFB, Va.
They have two daughters, Leona Faye Butler of Hamilton, Ohio, and Margaret Janet Egner of Hamilton, Ohio, and four grandchildren.
