Mr. and Mrs. Dennis J. Valente Sr. of Republic will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on Monday. They were married May 5, 1973 at Holy Rosary Church, Republic, by the Rev. Joseph Sredzinski.

Mrs. Valente is the former Gail Lynn Poyle.

She is employed at TeleTech, Uniontown.

Mr. Valente is retired from U.S. Steel Corp., Clairton Works, where he was employed for 30 years.

They are the parents of two children, D.J. and his wife, Joy, of Smithfield, and Jayme of Republic.

Their grandchildren are Madison Joy Valente and Chase James Valente of Smithfield.
