Mr., Mrs. Kopec observe 30th wedding anniversary

Bernard and Karen Kopec of Masontown celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1. They were married Sept. 1, 1973, at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Footedale.

Mrs. Kopec is the former Karen Novotney. They are the parents of two children, Teresa Seaman and her husband, Doug of Uniontown, and Jason Kopec of Masontown. They have a grandson, Dylan Douglas Seaman.

Mr. Kopec is employed with Consol as a mine foreman at the Enlow Fork Mine.
