Mr. and Mrs. Churby celebrate 30 years of marriage
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Churby of Smithfield celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were married on May 29, 1974, in Oakland, Md., at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
They are the parents of six children, Sharon Filmeck and husband, Frank, of Pittsburgh; Dale and wife, Janice Churby of Washington; Sonia and husband, James Bogden of Uniontown; Virginia and husband, George Eberhart of Dilliner; Rebecca and husband, Timothy Troycheck of Masontown and Mary Beth and husband, Michael Zentkovich of Dover, Fla.
There are 14 grandchildren, Nikea King and Matthew Filmeck, Jade Churby and Darcy Martin, James Thomas and Naesean Bodgen, Ashley and Georgie Eberhart, Donald and Cheyenne, Joshua Sanetrik, Joel, Daniel, and Chloe Zentkovich.
Mr. Churby is retired from U.S. Steel after 35 years of service.
Mrs. Churby is employed with the U.S. Postal Service, Smithfield.
