John and Betty Bondarenka of California, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 27. On October 27, 1944, John E. Bondarenka married Betty O. Landman.

Both John and Betty retired from California State University.

They have two children, daughter, Pat Guiler and her husband Jack, and son, John E. Bondarenka Jr. and his wife Marlene, all of Ravenna, Ohio.

There are four grandchildren, Michelle Guiler Bogo, Jack E. Guilder Jr., Michael Bondarenka and Mandy Fulkes.

They also have five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and Jackson Guiler and Samantha and Joe Bogo.

John and Betty are planning a trip to Atlantic City to celebrate the occasion.
