Mr., Mrs. Shetler celebrate 60th anniversarity with party and trip
Mr. and Mrs. James M. Shetler of Republic will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday. They were married Aug. 8, 1945, in St. Patrick Church, Cumberland, Md.
They are the parents of seven children, James W. Shetler, Mrs. Richard (Doreen) Wilson, Mrs. Denis (Sharon) Goedicke, Michael Shetler, Mrs. Patsy (Denise) Sassano, Dennis Shetler and Mrs. Chuck (Kimberly) Lucostic.
There are 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shetler is the former Mary Lee Gillespie.
Mr. Shelter is retired from Fox Grocery.
A party was held in their honor.
A trip to Canada was presented to them as a gift from their family.
