Mr., Mrs. Stunja celebrate 50 years of marriage
Ed and Eleanor Stunja Sr. of Whitsett celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 18. They were married June 18, 1955, at Holy Rosary Church in Republic.
They are the parents of six children, Robert and Cindi Caspar of Munhall; Norm and Yvonne Risker, Jasper, Fla.; Ed and Sharon of Perryopolis; Jeff of Whitsett; Scott of Perryopolis and Douglas (Rob) of Jacksonville, Fla.
They have 10 grandchildren, Nicole Vickers, Brandon and Mallory Caspar, Adam Simko, Angie, Lee and Ashlee Stunja, Monica and Megan Stunja, and Douglas Stunja Jr. There are two great-grandchildren, Chyanne and Cameron.
Mrs. Stunja was formerly employed at Mt. Macrina, Uniontown, and Foodland in Munhall.
Mr. Stunja is employed with Hudock Garages in Uniontown.
To mark the occasion, their family hosted a dinner at the Sun Porch in Hopwood.
