Carr
William and Dorothy Carr celebrated 50 years of marriage on Saturday. They were married Aug. 20, 1055, at the Methodist Church in Cumberland, Md.
Mrs. Carr is the former Dorothy Hileman, daughter of the late Sarah and Russell Hileman of Fairchance.
Mrs. Carr is a 1955 graduate of Georges Township High School, is retired with 30 years from Sears Roebuck and Co. where she worked in the Personnel Department.
Mr. Carr is the son of the late Lovina Carr of Uniontown. Mr. Carr attended Uniontown Senior High School. He retired with 35 yeas as a driver and captain with the Uniontown Fire Department. They are the parents of a daughter, Deborah Carr Krakaw, and her husband Jeff of Hopwood. They have a granddaughter, Ashley R. Hall, a senior student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
