Warren Daniel and Frances Clark of Smithfield celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21. They were married Aug. 21, 1965, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Leckrone.

After residing in Somerset for more than 30 years, they returned to the local area in summer 2004.

They are the parents of two children: Danyelle Nelson and husband Norman (Chip) of Spotsylvania, Va., and Warren (Dan) Clark and wife Debbie of Centreville, Va.

They have two granddaughters, Catronia and Sophia Nelson.

They plan to celebrate their anniversary with family and friends at a later date.
