Mr. and Mrs. Morrow observe 50th wedding anniversary
P. Robert Sr. and Florence I. Morrow of New Salem celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 29. They were married on Jan. 29, 1955, by the Rev. Earl P. Confer at Central Christian Church, Uniontown.
Mrs. Morrow is the former Florence Angelo, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Angelo. She is a homemaker.
Mr. Morrow is the son of the late Anthony and Mary Emma Morrow. He was employed at Robena and Dilworth Mines and retired from Cumberland Mine. They are both members of the First Christian Church of New Salem.
Their children are Patsy R. and Cindy Morrow of Waynesburg; Karen and Tom Simkovic of Carmichaels; Charles and Carla Morrow of McClellandtown.
They also have nine grandchildren, Angela and Daniel Lasko, Katie, Anthony, Vincent, Elizabeth, Sarah, Chuckie and Carol Morrow.
The couple was honored at a family dinner.
