Bakers observe 40th wedding anniversary
Charles and Judy Baker of Timberlake, N.C. are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today. They were married on June 26, 1965, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Brownsville.
They have three daughters, Charlene Vicari (Anthony) of Edwardsville, Ill.; Julie Baker Stiner (Luke) of Roxboro, N.C.; and Donica Masterson (John) of Marion, Iowa.
They have two grandchildren, Julianne Vicari and Aidan Masterson.
Mr. Baker is the son of the late Cornelius Bennett Baker and Patricia Day Baker and is retired from General Electric Company after 38 years of service as an engineer.
Mrs. Baker is the former Judy Siesky, daughter of Ann Siesky of Grindstone and the late Calvin G. Siesky, and sister of Jim Siesky of Grindstone. She is a former schoolteacher and volunteers as a docent at the Person County Museum of History in Roxboro.
The couple has planned an anniversary tour and cruise in Eastern Europe to celebrate the occasion.
