Karolciks celebrate 50th anniversary
Tom and Barbara Karolcik of Perryopolis celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24. They were married Nov. 24, 1955 at St. John Chrysostom Greek Catholic Church Pittsburgh by the Rev. John Bilock, the Rev. Thomas Gran and the Rev. William Kozar.
Mrs. Karolcik is the former Barbara Romza, daughter of the late John Romza and her living 97-year old mother, Anna Adam Romza.
Mrs. Karolcik is a homemaker.
They are both members of St. Nicholas G.C. Church in Perryopolis. Mr. Karolcik is the son of the late Michael and Anna Timosko Karolcik. He is the former owner of the Bentleyville Foodland and Bentleyville Giant Eagle.
They are the parents of three children: Thomas Jr. and his wife Carrie of Finleyville, Anna Marie and her husband, Thomas Kovalcik, of Barrington, N.H., and John and his wife Glenna of Morgantown, W.Va.
They have seven grandchildren, Mary Beth, Karolyn, Natalie and Emma Kovalcik of Barrington, N.H. and Brock, Blake and Johnna Karolcik of Morgantown, W.Va.
A reception was held in their honor at Tom and Carrie’s home in Finleyville.
