Libertinos celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
James and Louella Libertino of Silver Springs, Fla., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. They were married Sept. 24, 1955, at Christ Methodist Church, Beeson Avenue, Uniontown, by the Rev. James Robb.
Mrs. Libertino is the former Louella Laughery, daughter of Ora Laughery of Uniontown and Silver Springs, Fla.
Mr. Libertino, a retired professional engineer, graduated from Penn State University in 1960. Mrs. Libertino is a homemaker and floral designer. They resided in Genoa, Ohio, for 32 years.
They are the parents of four children, Dr. Jamie Ann Imlay of Curtice, Ohio; Coral Dee Long, Clay Center, Ohio; Lisa Dawn Wegman, Elmore, Ohio; and Jay Libertino of Genoa, Ohio, all teachers in Toledo, Ohio.
They also have three grandchildren, Andrew T. Long of Clay Center, Ohio; Christina Ann Long, Toledo, Ohio; and Shaina Anne Dunn, Oak Harbor, Ohio.
A reception took place at the Chippewa Golf Club in Curtice, Ohio.
They also renewed their marriage vows at the celebration.
