Bruce and Verna (Dolly) Leonard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6. They were married in Cumberland, Md., in 1955.

A family dinner was held in their honor.

Mrs. Leoanrd is the former Verna Cornelius of Connellsville.

Mr. Leonard is from Dunbar.

They were both employed as owners/operators of Leonard’s Welding for over 20 years.

They are the parents of three children, Teresa Snyder, Bruce Jr., deceased, and Cathy Taylor. They have six grandchildren, Carol, Renee, Buck, Terry Lee, J.B. and Daniel.

They also have six great-grandchildren, Adara, Justin, Kessa, Tyler, Isaiah and Elijah.
