Paul and Patty Richardson of Uniontown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 5. They were married on Oct 5, 1955, at First Methodist Church, Oakland, Md.

They renewed their marriage vows during Mass on Oct. 8, at St. John’s the Evangelist Church.

Mrs. Richardson was employed at the dental office of Dr. J. W. Davis as a receptionist before her retirement.

Mr. Richardson is a retired firefighter from the Uniontown Fire Department. He is also a self-employed plumber.

They are the parents of five children: Mona and Richard Moore of Williamstown, W. Va., Sue and Jeff Buchanan, Joni and Scott Basescu, Mary Pat and Fred Bonchosky, Paul and Tracey Richardson, all of Uniontown.

They have 11 grandchildren: Doug and Laura Moore, Jeffrey Buchanan, Kate, Ryan and Claire Basescu, Sara, Chris and Ben Bonchosky, Kevin and Abby Richardson. One great granddaughter, Samantha Moore.

To mark the occasion, their children hosted a reception at The Historic Stone House Restaurant.
