Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clark Harper of Uniontown celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on Oct. 1. They were married Oct. 1, 1941, by Mr. Harper’s brother, the Rev. William E. Harper at the Dawson Baptist Church.

They celebrated with Mr. Harper’s sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Homer Casterwiler, who celebrated their wedding anniversary on Sept. 30.

Mrs. Harper is the former Harriette Hazen Murphy, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Watson C. Murphy of Smock.

Mr. Harper is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William C. Harper of Smock. He is retired after 43 years with the H.C. Frick Co. He enjoys working on cars and especially his antique cars.

They are the parents of four sons, William W. and his wife, Fran, Waltersburg; James H. and his wife, Lani of Uniontown; Ronald S. and his wife, Bonnie, of Uniontown; and Robert R. and his wife, Cindy, of Uniontown; and a daughter, Janie L. Harper Crossland of Uniontown.

They have 16 grandchildren, Bill II, Lee Anne, Lou Anne, Ronnie Allen, deceased; Keith and Kevin, Kim and Kristie, Ronald S. Jr., deceased; Rick, Joe, Dave, Rhonda, Robert Jr., Stephen and Corey. They have 24 great-grandchildren.
