Mr. and Mrs. Rosneck mark 50th anniversary
Steve and Lois Rosneck celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24. They were married Sept. 24, 1955, at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, by the Rev. Thomas Dunn.
A blessing Mass was celebrated at St. Procopius Church, New Salem, where the Rosnecks have been choir members for more than 20 years. A family dinner followed, hosted by their children.
The Rosnecks were part owners and operators of Peacock Casino in Herbert until retiring in 1997. Mr. Rosneck was also a meat cutter for Kroger Co. for more than 20 years.
Their children are Susan Danley and her husband, Michael, of Claysville; Stephen and wife, Kathy of Fairbank; and Paul and wife, Lori of Herbert.
Their grandchildren are Rebecca Spence and her husband, Daniel of Vaccaville, Calif.; Benjamin Danley of Pittsburgh; and Adam and Nicholas Rosneck of Herbert.
Their great-grandson is Ian Daniel Spence of Vaccaville, Calif.
