Mr. and Mrs. Zinn mark 50th anniversary
Norman Jr. and Loretta Zinn of Smithfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 24. They were marred on March 24, the birthday of Norman’s mother, at Oak Hill Baptist Church of Old Frame by the Rev. Tarcy.
Mrs. Zinn, the former Loretta Young, is the daughter of the late Franklin Young Sr. and the late Ruth Sanner Young. She was employed with Mueller Electric in Cleveland, Ohio, and later was a stay-at-home mother.
Mr. Zinn is the son of the late Norman Zinn Sr. and the late Eva Adams Zinn. He was employed with suburban Motor Freight in Cleveland for 34 years as a truck driver. He retired in 1987. He also worked for Agway in Uniontown for 10 years. He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served from 1956-1964.
They celebrated their anniversary with their children, Jamie Zinn of Follansbee, W.Va., and Tina Zinn Dills of Uniontown, and their grandson, Scott Dills, also of Uniontown.
