Mr. and Mrs. Giachetti mark 50th anniversary
Louis and Carmela Giachetti of Uniontown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. They were married Aug. 18, 1956, at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
Mrs. Giachetti is the daughter of the late Vincent and Crescenzia Vellucci. She is a homemaker.
Mr. Giachetti is the son of the late Pasquale and Carmella Giachetti. He is a U.S. Army World War II and Korean Conflict veteran. He is retired from the Uniontown Police Department.
They are the parents of three sons, Louis and his wife, Cathie and their daughters, Nicole and Erin of Waynesburg; Vincent and his wife Pamela and their daughters, Andrea and Amanda of Uniontown; and Michael and his wife, Dollie and their son, Michael, also of Uniontown.
