Mr. and Mrs. Lowry mark 50th anniversary
Bert and Mary Margaret Lowry of Farmington are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on July 22, 1956, at Mount Washington Church by the Rev. Hindman.
Mrs. Lowry, the former Mary Margaret Spaw, is the daughter of the late Delbert and Mary (Teats) Spaw. She is a retired bookkeeper.
Mr. Lowry is the son of the late Albert Sr. and Odessa (Bryner) Lowry. He is a retired sawyer.
Their children are Frank (Joe) Lowry of Charleston, W.Va.; Denise Ulrich and her husband Gary; and Kent Lowry and his wife Trina of Farmington. Their grandchildren are Brandy (Herman); Amber and Ashley Lowry; step-grandchildren are Chad and Shelby Rice and Theresa Chalfant. Their great-grandson is Cole (Bucket) Hughart.
