Mr., Mrs. Hayden mark 35th anniversary
James A. and Gina L. (Sissy) Hayden of Farmington celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Jan. 17. The couple was united in marriage on Jan. 17, 1972, in the Bethel Church of the Brethren, Farmington, with the Rev. Duane Lewellen officiating.
A party was hosted by the couple’s children at the Mountain Fellowship Center, Markleysburg, for family and friends. The Rev. Terry Collins officiated at a vow renewal ceremony.
She is the former Gina Callaghan, daughter of the late Joseph M. Callaghan and Barbara J. Callaghan of Uniontown. She is a legal secretary. A graduate of Laurel Business Institute, she is employed at Burd’s Sunoco in Farmington. She is active in Boy Scouts of America as a merit badge counselor, a member of the Military Mom’s Association and a gold panelist member of Shopper Hotline Elite.
Mr. Hayden is a retired construction superintendent with 19 years of service, with the Joseph B. Fay Co. in Pittsburgh. He is a lifelong carpenter in the home and cabinet building trade. He is the son of the late James A. and Clara L. Hayden of Farmington.
They are the parents of four children, Jimmy, Michael and wife Angie, Danny and wife Heather, and Scott and a nephew Richie and wife Heidi.
They have four grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Mikey), Joshua (JT), Hailey and Brandi Hayden and two great-nephews, Larry and Kyle.
The couple was presented a trip to Niagara Falls by their children.
