Mr., Mrs. Knox celebrate wedding anniversary
Charles and Rose Knox of 1 Fayette St., Fairchance, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday. They were married on March 9, 1957, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Uniontown. Mrs. Knox is the daughter of the late Dominic (Banty) and Philomena (Minnie) Gelsomino. Mr. Knox is the son of the late Russell and Edna Davis Knox.
They are the parents of a daughter, Kim Rider and her husband, Chris of Fairchance.
Their grandchildren are Nikki Trump and her husband, Josh of Fairchance; Jenne Baukol and Angi Rider of Fairchance, and two great-granddaughters Hannah Trump and Rylee Baukol.
Mr. Knox was employed at Crane’s Men Shop in Uniontown for 10 years in sales and was manager of Crane’s Men Shop in Morgantown, W.Va., for 18 years, and manager of Biafora’s Men Wear in Morgantown, W.Va., for 10 years. He is now a tailor.
A trip is planned to mark the occasion.
