Mr. and Mrs. Palya celebrate 65 years of marriage
Sally and Frank Palya of Uniontown celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a Mass and family gathering.
They were married on Feb. 16, 1942, at St. Polycarp Church, West Leisenring. Mrs. Palya is the former Sally Almasi.
They are the parents of four children, Larry and his wife, Rita; Thomas and his wife, Mary Jewel; Frank Jr. and his wife, Deborah, all of Uniontown, and Sister Donna Marie, V.S.C. of Latrobe. They have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
They are members of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
