Mr. and Mrs. Orlandi mark 50 years of marriage
Augustine J. Orlandi and Margaret Shwallon Orlandi of 3129 Robinson Run Road, McDonald, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 22. They were married on April 22, 1957, in St. Peter Church, Brownsville.
They are the parents of two daughters, Venetia Torre and Monica Orlandi. They have four grandchildren, Brittany Condle, Emily Condle, Nolan Condle and Marissa Torre.
Mrs. Orlandi is the daughter of Steve and Sophie Shwallon.
Mr. Orlandi is the son of Gaetano and Elsie Orlandi.
He served with the 282nd Army Band at Fort Sill, Okla., from 1957 to 1959. He was a member of the VFW Post 47 Band, Uniontown, since 1947, and became band director from 2000 to 2005.
He retired in 1985 as instrumental music teacher from the West Allegheny School District.
An anniversary party was held in their honor at the Nevillewood Club House in Presto with family and friends attending including 10 of the 12 bridal party attendants.
