Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Lynch of Leisenring 1 recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were honored at a surprise celebration, hosted by their children, Bethany Knight of Connellsville, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Lynch of Connellsville, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Lynch of Connellsville, Mr. and Mrs. Gene L. Lynch of Fairfax, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Mark K. Lynch of Connellsville and Todd M. Lynch of Leisenring 1.

The couple married on Dec. 4, 1956, at Winchester, Va.

They have 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Lynch is the daughter of the late Thomas and Bernice (Cromwell) Walker. She is a domestic engineer.

Mr. Lynch is the son of the late John and Iva (Breakiron) Lynch. He is a retired U.S. Steel worker.
