Schvarczkopfs celebrate 60 years of marriage
John and Mary Schvarczkopf recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. A celebration, hosted by their children, spouses and grandchildren, was held at the Coal Baron Restaurant.
They were married June 26, 1948, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Massena, N.Y., their hometown.
Mrs. Schvarczkopf is retired from the Connellsville Area School District as an elementary teacher.
Mr. Schvarczkopf is retired plant manager from the former Allied Chemical Plant in Newell.
They have four children, Carolyn Jarcho of Portland, Ore., Dr. Ann Storey of Olympia, Wash., Michael Schvarczkopf of Albuquerque, N.M., and Lisa Zeller of Morgantown, W.Va. Their grandchildren are Robert and Brian Zeller and Brianna Jarcho. Their spouses are Deb Jarcho, Randall Johnson, Bob Zeller and Diana Schvarczkopf.
