Mr., Mrs. Goodwin mark 35th anniversary

James and Karen Goodwin of Chalk Hill recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. They were married July 26, 1975, in Third Presbyterian Church in Uniontown by the Rev. Karl W. Bowman.

Mrs. Goodwin is the former Karen Bruzda, daughter of the late Joseph (Budgie) Bruzda and Betty (Grimm) Bruzda. She is an administrative associate at Dearth Funeral Home in New Salem.

Mr. Goodwin is the son of the late George (Bob) Goodwin and Ann (Whyel) Goodwin. He is employed with the City of Uniontown.

They are the parents of one daughter, Lori Ann and her husband, Justin Scott, of Hopwood.

They celebrated their anniversary along with Lori and Justin’s wedding on a Western Caribbean cruise with friends and family.
