Dr., Mrs. Charles Machesky celebrate 35 years of marriage
Dr. Charles and Mary Machesky celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Aug. 2. The celebration included a renewal of their marriage vows by Bishop Gregory Mansour of Our Lady of Lebanon Cathedral in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The couple was married Aug. 2, 1975, at St. George Maronite Church of Uniontown by the Rev. Peter Mahfoud.
Mrs. Machesky recently retired from Uniontown Area School District where she was a teacher for 34 years.
Dr. Machesky is the superintendent of Uniontown Area School District.
They have three daughters, Elizabeth and Angela Machesky of Uniontown and Suzanne Machesky of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A family celebration included a vacation to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
