CONNELLSVILLE AL-ANON GROUP meets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evenings at the Christian Church of Connellsville, 212 South Pittsburgh St.
OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS meets at noon on Mondays at St. Peter’s Church parish house, 60 Morgantown St., Uniontown. The meetings are open to those with compulsive eating habits, anorexics and bulimics. Abstinent lunches are permitted. Those wishing to attend are asked to use the rear porch entrance.
REPUBLIC COMMUNITY LIBRARY is inviting all area children to a Christmas celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Everyone is invited to join Santa at the library located at 13 DeGregory Circle, Republic. The evening will be filled with stories, activities, crafts and treats.
