CONNELLSVILLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, corner of Green and Pittsburgh streets, will hold an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Items for the sale include antiques, collectibles, toys, linens, crafts, housewares, tools, jewelry, clothing and more. Refreshments, including homemade soup to eat-in or take-out, sandwiches and drinks, will be sold with the proceeds benefiting the Connellsville Community Ministries and the children’s Faith Finders program. A BENEFIT DANCE will be held for 3-year-old cancer patient, Paxton Seneri, and his family, from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Masontown Italian Club. The evening is open to the public and will include a disc jockey and refreshments for purchase.
FAYETTE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY will meet Monday at the home of Chris Buckelew, 145 S. Beeson Ave., Uniontown. Following the business meeting, Tom Buckelew will share his knowledge of antique china. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be moved to the Calloway Room at the Fayette County Health Center, located at 100 New Salem Road.
POINT MARION LIBRARY will begin its winter session of story hour Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon. All preschool through third grade children are invited. Stories, songs, games and crafts are featured. For more information, call 724-725-9372.
